The Money Tree

Found this whilst on the waterfall walk near Ingleton.
Folk must have been hammering copper coins in this old tree for years. Why? who knows, maybe it's a copper beach eh!

Foulney Island

Views from a walk over to Foulney Island which is just of Roa Island.
I wonder who built the stone shelter, a lot of time and effort has gone into it.

Samaria Gorge Crete

Just to prove that I never spent all of the time on Crete just slobbing around here's some photos taken on the 18k(11.5miles) gorge walk through the Samaria Gorge
Do believe me this ain't no walk in the park, it's rough terrain and hard going in the afternoon sun. Mind you I bet Dogbait does little strolls like this before breakfast!

Black Monster

The huge black monster emerges from the wreckage.
Asute the latest nuclear sub seen through a demolition site.

Grand Turk

This reproduction wooden sailing vessel was running pleasure cruises from Barrow docks this week. They tell it's authentic in every detail, and my Italian fare who I dropped nearby said "hey they is crazy they fire the blinking cannons alda dam time"
